As US polls close, we ask: has the vote been hacked?
Has the vote been hacked?
It’s already proven that the vote can be hacked, so we ask Has it been hacked? and if so, can we catch the fraudster(s)? hope so.
Now that the US has moved to electronic voting machines, we no longer have to worry about ‘hanging chads’ and the humiliation of days of counting and recounting. We’ve put our faith in electronic voting machines; well, maybe not. I used an electronic voting machine and voted anyway, but I’m feeling insecure about it.
Maybe it’s because I watched the movie, Hacking Democracy, an HBO documentary on the ease of hacking voting machines: spoiler tip, hack the counting card, not the voting machines…

Personally, I always vote… I cancel out someone else’s vote; I tried to dissuade him from voting this morning, saying “you know, when we BOTH vote, our votes cancel out each other’s, so let’s make a pact, save some time, and both NOT vote.” oh well. I tried. I believe in voting, but if you know you’re cancelling out someone else’s vote, why not pair up and both, just NOT vote. My logic: saves money, time, gas, and eliminates voter fraud, because you can’t tamper with a vote that never happened.
What’s your take? Do you think the vote has been hacked? Do you think we can catch it in time?
