Boot via your USB key
I dont know about you but i haven’t had the need to boot from a floppy drive in years. With the advent of portable storage devices, the need for a floppy becomes even less so. These portable storage devices carry much more data than a floppy can and are even used to boot your pc in case of a hard drive failure. Just install HP’s nifty Drive Key Boot Utility and you’re set.
Notes:
1. Make sure to have the essentials apps on the disk (recovery, bios updates, and drivers) when you use it for booting.
2. Make sure that your mobo supports booting via a USB drive (check your bios under boot options)
3. Remember to change your boot order so that your PC boots from your usb drive before accessing any other boot locations
