Cool your PC: USB fans

by Kiven on June 12th, 2007

One trick i use to cool my pc/laptop is to use a USB fan. USB fans don’t cost anything and you may have one or two lying around. Use it like this: Plug your USB fan into your system, jack up the speed and let it blow hot air away from your PC. Especially useful if you don’t have that much air circulating around the room.

BUT If your system is still experiencing a lot of heat then maybe it’s time to opt for a more commercial solution such as laptop coolers or liquid cooling for your system.

open your computer cover and slam that wind from your big desktop fan unto it (deskstops). Not exactly your conventional cooler but if you’re someone who uses a computer in a tight place or just plain scared of it overheating, specially int he summer of this country, then yeah, this should help. Just…don’t…….spill anything on the inside now.
