DOS Batch File Commands
A great flexibility of any commandline environment is the built in ability to write scripts to automate processes, particularly repetitive ones. Linux affords the greates flexibility with thousands of commands available in varying flavors across multiple different shells (Bourne, Korn, Bash, etc) on many different flavors of distributions. However, Windows provides its own much more limited, yet still very robust, scripting in the form of DOS, VBScript, etc.
Here is a good reference for those scripters who might need to use this built in tool.
