Fake login scripting attacks IE 7, Mozilla Firefox 2
Both
Internet Explorer 7 and
Mozilla Firefox 2.0 include anti-phishing safeguards, a method of preventing fake sites from masquerading as the real ones in your browser. Too bad they haven’t yet patched a scripting vulnerability that allows hackers to do pretty much the same thing in malware web pages: steal passwords and logins by faking logins.
[news ZDNet.com] The only way a hacker can take advantage of this flaw is to craft a fake login on a web page hosted on a trusted site. Expect patches soon.
