New Management, Computers Still Suck

Computers suck. It’s always been that way yet we seem to be gluttons for punishment and keep coming back for more. I’m thrilled to be taking over this blog and helping people understand some of the things that will make living with computers easier to deal with.

A little bit about myself: I am a desktop support technician for a major U.S. defense contractor. My job revolves around making sure my users can use Microsoft Office, debugging Windows (and isn’t there a lot to debug), ensuring connectivity for email and Blackberry’s, etc.

The tone of this blog might reflect a little bit of the business-level experience that I have, but should apply to most home users as well.
