Are you tired of having spam slip past your anti-spam program or filters? There is a solution. An online spam filter service.

PCMag.com has just reviewed Vanquish. Vanquish doesn’t just block supposed spam, it blocks everything except the email you want. You preload your address book to start with and it then sends challenge emails to anyone who is not on your list while holding the email. You can then either manually approve the emails for delivery or let the senders respond to the challenge email to get their message delivered.

BOTTOM LINE
Instead of blocking supposed spam, vqME blocks everything except mail you want, like mail from friends and from nonspammer humans who respond to a challenge. vqME handles situations that most whitelist and challenge/response products don’t. The unusual “bonded sender” feature may be the wave of the future.

PROS
Protects and optionally aggregates up to five e-mail accounts. Excellent implementation of whitelist and challenge/response, handling situations most don’t. Bonded sender program. Webmail access available.

CONS
Can delay receipt of e-mail in some configurations. Date/time stamps in Held Mail may not be correct.
